With the floor plan firmly in my pocket, the priority now is to select the equipment. For this task, I chose to go to Harris of Kitench in Hong Kong. Both Mr. Fang and Harris are extremely knowledgeable on equipment and understand whether what would suit my needs. Having first helped me with the design of my kitchen in Hong Kong, they got to know me very well and understood my needs.
Finally, after only a few days, a complete set of floor plans including 3D were sent to me by email. Included with the attachment was a detailed breakdown of how much the whole kitchen would cost, including equipment, gadgets, cabinets, lighting, etc. etc.
I decided to put in a new kitchen in my London house, and to start with, I needed to know whom to approach for advice and guidance. My designer, Charlotte Yorke-Long, got me in touch with Linda Mason of IKD International Ltd.
