One of my missions for this trip is to replace all the bed linens, duvet covers and duvets as the ones we have now are over 11 years' old. The old bed linens and duvet covers were purchased at Lane Crawford, and they were of such fine quality that they lasted all these years. Unfortunately, it is difficult to find the same nowadays unless you pay an arm and a leg.
I believe in having bed linen that literally hugs you, the sheet naturally wraps round your shoulders, and gently put you to sleep. I am a firm believer that we should pay attention to the smallest details in our lives. Something like good bed linens can calm our nerves after a stressful day, give us a good sleep so that we wake up fresh and ready to take on the challenge of another day.
I also pay attention to the wash: the sheets should smell fresh, fragrant, be soft to the touch yet with a slight crisp to it. And I like to place a bottle of incense sticks next to the bed with an ever so light scent of jasmine in the air.
