Tomorrow, 31st December, we will be celebrating the passing of one calendar year to the next. You can invite your friends home to a sumptuous dinner or book a table at a hotel, restaurant or club to say goodbye to the old year. This year, especially, we want to usher in the new year with a very big bang so we will have a wonderful year and not have a repeat of the financial gloom which dominated 2008.
BUT what to do between the hours 1900 to 2100? Dinner usually starts late, very late ............why not have a pre-dinner drinks party at home so your guests won't stay hungry till 9pm?
