Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to all of you, dear friends! "When the moon is full, mankind is one!"
Today is also Miss Muffin's first Mid-Autumn Festival, and she was treated to a very long walk this morning. She staged a hunger strike a while ago because she was given so many lovely treats that she found the normal dry dog food not to her standard. Like her mummy (ie Me) she would rather died from hunger than have lousy food. The decision is whether we have to start cooking for Miss Muffin or try our last trick in the bag - mix half tin food with dry dog food. It seems to work, for the time being! She is eating again!
About a week later, I began to feel slightly more settled in my new home and with my new family. It was a lovely sunny Sunday, and I was taken out for my first outing.
I was quite weak, with constant diarrhea and nonstop weeing, Mama and papa were so worried I was taken to the vet every other day. Blood samples were taken, and it was so painful! I was a little better on that day, so it was decided that I might benefit from a little sun, may be work on my sun tan! Woof, woof! That would surely make my siblings all so jealous!
Da Da prepared my bath as if he was carrying out a surgery, with Julian Dai Dai as his assistant. Bonnie was on stand-by in case they needed an extra hand to resuscitate my heart in case it went because of too much fright. Cousin Christine was in the background shouting out orders, Ma Ma busy taking photos of my first bath for the record. I was simply too frightened to know or appreciate what was going on..............
Dai Dai complained that he believed his first bath did not have attract such a large audience. Ma Ma said he was bathed in the kitchen sink :-)) hee hee! Cheers!
My Da Da and Ma Ma asked me to send you my greetings and to introduce myself. I am Miss Muffin, 5 months 20 days old. I was born on 29th January 2009 at Ashford, Kent, UK. There were six of us, five girls and one boy. With only six of us, the milk was plentiful, and no need to fight for teats. We were all very well looked after by Kelly Isherwood, our breeder.
I am a F1B Labradoodle, that means my mother is a Labradoodle and my papa is a poodle. I have wavy curly coats, and do not shed.
My brothers, Jonathan and Julian, thought Da Da is getting a wee bit of a belly, and decided I am the perfect gift for him because he needs to take me for walkies every monring and evening. Woof, Woof! So Cousin Christine googled and found me. I was then 9 weeks old and my mother, suffering from postnatal depression having to feed the six of us, complained about lack of sleep and decided we were ready to be sold. Sob! Sob!
